Nikolai Kapustin

My father Nikolai Kapustin (1937-2020), a renowned composer, was born in Horlivka, Ukraine. He was of mixed Jewish-Russian ancestry: his father Girsh Kapustin was Jewish and his mother Klavdia Kapustina was Russian. He wrote over 100 pieces for orchestra, piano, and other instruments.
